Well done to all who participated in this 2009's Tri-Nations Championship and Annual Cork Polocrosse Tournament. The Irish team won in the men's section and the English team won in the ladies' section. Carrickmines swept the board, winning A/B, C and D grade. Two Cork teams came second and third in D grade - well done Jill, Mairead, Louise and Charlotte, while Cork's Tom Bolger was on the winning D grade team. Three Cork members made up half of one C-section and came third. Thanks again to main sponsors Kevin O'Leary Audi.

The Cork Polocrosse Club participated in most of 2008's tournaments around the country. Early success came when Cork player Sead Ni Mhaoilmhia was named best D-grade rider at the Cork Polocrosse Tournament  and one D-grade team was placed third in Waterford.  The highlight of the year was definitely when the same winning team - made up of Mike Murphy, Joanne O'Flynn and Richie Crockett - won the overall D-grade nationals in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary at the end of the season. An extremely successful first season for the Cork club!
